This year, Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, May 10th. To celebrate mom, all during the month of May Cigno Family Dental invites you to visit our Facebook page and post a story about your mother. Describe why your mom deserves a day of pampering and tell us about all the things she does that make you feel grateful.
Whoever gets the most Facebook likes on their story wins!
The Prize
When you nominate your mom in a Facebook post, tell us why she’d be a great candidate to receive a Relaxing Facial at Moko Spa (located at Refresh Salons and Bodyworks in Hales Corners). Take this opportunity to tell her how much you care, let us know about it and the winner with the most likes will grab the prize!
Here’s a hint – be very specific about why your mom deserves the best - it’ll help you capture those Facebook likes! Plus, post a picture of mom for 10 bonus likes.
By the way, the contest will be active during the entire month of May, so don’t worry if May 10th comes and goes and you haven’t posted your story yet. Everyone will have an opportunity to post through May 31st.
Unsung Heroes Deserve Recognition
There are many, many mothers out there who sacrifice themselves for their children and we at Cigno Family Dental think they deserve to experience a lovely afternoon in appreciation for everything they do for their family, visible and invisible.
Moms make sure everything runs smoothly at home and at school, don’t they? They get flack if something doesn’t go right. But where’s the praise when they always make sure that there’s food on the table, clean clothes in the drawer or cookies for the bake sale?
We tell kids who come to us for braces all the time, “Realize that your parents are making a sacrifice to make sure your teeth are getting taken care of. They’re taking on a financial obligation now and a long-term commitment to follow through with check-up appointments. Mom and Dad are taking money they could spend on a vacation or a new car and allocating it for you so you can have nice teeth!”
We explain that braces aren’t just free. Insurance might only take care of $1000 out of a $4000-$5000 bill. We like to encourage gratitude and awareness with the little ones who visit us.
