Greenfield, WI — January 20, 2016 — Wisconsin dentist Tony Cigno recently published a new blog post, “Family Dentistry – 5 Ways to Help Kids Enjoy Their Trip to the Pediatric Dentist or family dentist.” In the article, Tony gives practical strategies for every age group to ensure your kids don’t dread dental visits and instead, look forward to them. As Tony says, “did you know that simply by taking age appropriate steps with your children’s dental care you help them create good dental habits that will keep their teeth, gums, and mouth in good shape? And this means pediatric dental visits will always be much less painful, more beneficial, and less unappealing—for life!“
In the article, Tony shares specific tips for age 1, ages 2-3, ages 3-4. 5 – 10, and the teen years. The main theme of all ages being for parents to remember that kids are little people who grow to be big people with the same set of teeth they get at around age 6. These teeth have to last forever. It is up to parents to start kids on the road to good dental health habits in the best manner possible and then hope they continue the good habits you – and their pediatric dentist or family dentist – has taught.
