Milwaukee Area Dentist Tony Cigno Releases Second in Article Series About Preparing Your Dental Health for the New Year

Milwaukee area dentist Dr. Tony Cigno talks about dental savings or health savings plans and what the new year means for these benefits.

Greenfield, WI — February 5, 2018Wisconsin Dentist Tony Cigno recently published an article titled, “Preparing Your Dental Health for the New Year Part 2.”

Part one of this two part series discusses how the new year is a perfect time for a full self and professional assessment of current dental health. In this segment, Dr. Cigno gives additional information about how dental savings, health savings, and/or flexible savings plans can be useful in addressing those areas of concern that might arise in these checkups.

As Dr. Cigno says, “If there are dental care needs or dental treatments you have been putting off or pushing away, this might be the perfect time to give them attention.”

There are three major types of accounts you might have, explains Dr. Cigno:

  • A Health Savings Account (HAS)
  • A Medical Savings Account (MSA)
  • A Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

He elaborates, “With these types of accounts, you set aside money out of each paycheck, without being taxed on that money.”

Next, Dr. Cigno goes into each of these different options, their limits, what they can be used for, what they cannot be used for, and other pertinent details.
